On 11th January 2016, peacefully at Birch Hall Care Home, Darwen. Nellie aged 89 years. Beloved wife of the late George Yates Smalley, much loved mother of Georgina, dear mother-in-law of Barry, dearly loved nan of Kerry and Ricky also a treasured great-nan of Evan, Evie, Millie and Honor. A service in Ainsworth’s Chapel of Rest, Darwen on Tuesday, 19th January at 11 a.m. will be followed by interment at Darwen Eastern Cemetery.
