On 16th February 2021, peacefully at Springfield Cottage, after a long illness. Margaret aged 86 years. Beloved wife of the late Jimmy, much loved mum of Karen and Lisa, mother-in-law of Len and Stephen, proud grandma of Kerry, and Thomas, great-grandma of Saffron, Evelyn and Ethan, treasured companion of Gail, dear sister of Teresa, Barbara and the late Mary, Anne and Adeline also a special auntie, sister-in-law and friend of many. Requiem Mass in St Joseph’s Church, Darwen on Friday, 26th February at 2.30 p.m. will be followed by committal at Pleasington Crematorium. Due to the current restrictions, attendance at the church and Crematorium is strictly by invitation only. However, anyone wishing to pay their respects can socially distance outside church, as this would be most welcome. Everyone is invited to wear a splash of bright colour.
